How Does Online Personal Training Work?

It’s simpler than you think, and more personal than most expect.

Online personal training is simpler than most people expect and far more personal than many assume.

At its core, online personal training combines tailored training programmes with ongoing coaching and support. You train where you are. Your coach supports you remotely, adjusting your plan as you progress and as life changes.

This approach works well for people who want structure, guidance, and accountability without rigid schedules or unnecessary pressure.

Step 1: Understanding you

Effective online personal training starts with listening.

Before any programme is created, I take time to understand:

  • Your goals

  • Your training history

  • Any injuries or health considerations

  • Your available time, equipment, and preferences

This step matters. Without it, training becomes generic. With it, your programme reflects your real life, not an idealised version of it.

Step 2: Your personalised programme

Once the groundwork is in place, you receive a programme built around:

  • Your current ability

  • The time you realistically have each week

  • The equipment you can access

  • Progression that makes sense for your body

Your training plan lives in the THP coaching app and includes:

  • Clear exercise instructions

  • Video demonstrations

  • Sets, reps, and tempo explained clearly

Nothing is left to guesswork.

Step 3: Ongoing coaching and adjustments

This is where online personal training differs from downloading a plan.

As you train:

  • Progress is reviewed

  • Exercises are adjusted when needed

  • Loads and volume change over time

  • Support is there when motivation dips or life gets busy

Training should adapt to you, not the other way around.

Step 4: Accountability and support

You are not left restarting every few weeks or wondering what to do next.

Online personal training provides:

  • Ongoing guidance

  • Regular check-ins

  • Clear direction when things feel off track

Support is consistent, even when your routine isn’t.

Online training is not hands-off

Good online coaching is active, responsive, and personal. It simply doesn’t require you to be in the same room.

With the right structure and communication, online personal training can be just as effective as in-person sessions, while offering greater flexibility around work, family, and energy levels.

How online personal training works at Titanium High Performance

Online personal training at Titanium High Performance is built around structure, communication, and realistic expectations.

After an initial consultation, your programme is delivered through the our THP coaching app. This allows you to:

  • Access your personalised training plan

  • Track workouts and progress

  • Watch exercise demonstrations

  • Communicate directly with me as your coach

Coaching is ongoing. Programmes are adjusted based on how your body responds, your feedback, and changes in your routine.

I am a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer with an additional Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification. This means online training is approached with care.

Online training at Titanium High Performance is designed to support long-term strength, consistency, and confidence, not short-term fixes.
